EXCITING NEWS FROM OUR

FREMONT STEAM COMMITTEE!!

 

Fremont has partnered with the California Science Center Foundation to support the implementation of Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) across Fremont Elementary through a collaborative engagement including PTA leadership, the STEAM committee, the Fremont Instructional Leadership Team (ILT), and the

California Science Center (CSC)!

 

The opportunity includes an assessment of our school’s specific needs followed by tailored professional development & coaching for our Fremont teachers. The program will help Fremont increase familiarity with the NGSS and provide a basis for planning instruction around the

new standards. 

 

The CSC program was developed specifically for elementary schools and we will become one of the early-adopting elementary schools in the Long Beach School District! 

 

This opportunity is a major development for our school and is taking place because of the gracious support from all of you…so
