Our PTA thrives on community, and email is one of our simplest (and most powerful!) tools. Start by sharing why you’re fundraising—classroom supplies, assemblies, field trips—then make it personal. A short story from your student goes a long way.
Keep the ask clear and easy: what you’re raising funds for, how much you hope to raise, and exactly how to donate. Include a photo to create momentum, and always say thank you—gratitude builds trust and keeps families engaged.

Hi my lovely friends and family,
My school is doing something really awesome, and I need your help! Our PTA (that’s the Parent-Teacher Association) helps make school fun and better for everyone. I'm fundraising for the Fremont PTA because they support our school with additional programs that bring in science, multicultural experiences, and art.
These include:
College Aides who help to reduce the student to teacher ratio during challenging times
Mystery Science curriculum
Hands-on Organic Gardening program
Cultural activities to promote social awareness and empathy
Supporting teachers with setup money for classrooms so I never have to worry about whether I'll have a pencil or crayons
Funding for additional field trips
Art Club and Writer's Club and Talent Show
Student of the Month celebrations
