The DEI Committee at Fremont got kicked off a couple of years ago and this year, it’s being relaunched with a new name - IDEA which stands for inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility.
As a whole, our goal is to create a PTA board and membership that’s inclusive and reflective of our community. We want to ensure that all students and their families, from many diverse backgrounds, are welcomed to participate. The VP of the IDEA Committee is Tiffany Davis-Baez. Learn more about her here.
On Friday, September 16, the IDEA Committee is excited to welcome Fremont families to the 2022 Fall Festival! Everyone’s invited to bring a dinner and a blanket. A taco cart will be sponsored by the PTA. This is a great opportunity to get to know other Fremont families in a casual environment.
